Golden Looks from The Golden Globes

While there were a few that graced the Golden Globes step and repeat – most of the looks you’ll see here were shot at the homes of the stars for a virtual red carpet experience.  Here are my favorite looks as well as the designers behind them.

Celeste Waite was nominated for  Best Original Song in a Motion Picture for ‘Hear My Voice’ for The Trial of the Chicago 7. Adorned with Yellow Gold Lion Head Earrings by Alessandro Michele, Celeste wore a beautiful velvet and multicolored sequin gown from Gucci.

Dan Levy, nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Miniseries, or Motion Picture made for Television for his role in my Fave show Schitt’s Creek, was donned in Valentino Couture. Fun fact Dan Levy is one of the first celebrities to wear Valentino Couture’s men’s collection and he was quite dapper if I do say so myself! In his lemon wool suit jacket and contrasting pants, Dan Levy was definitely and is always going to be one of the best dressed.

Tiffany Haddish was one of the stylish presenters at the Golden Globes. Not only did she wear a beautiful embellished brown and silver Alberta Ferretti strapless dress, she also hit the carpet with a new blonde buzz cut.

Amanda Seyfried was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in Mank. She wore an elegantly made custom Oscar de la Renta sorbet dress crafted with a beautiful floral shawl on top. It reminded me of a nice 1970s red carpet and I wish I had it in my closet!

Anya Taylor- Joy wore an emerald Dior Couture dress with Tiffany & Co. jewelry as she won the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television in The Queen’s Gambit. The dress was made out of Lurex,  a glittering metallic thread and also had a draping cape that completed the look making it my absolute favorite of the night.
