Wild ‘N Out and I have history ok (you might catch me on S11 E3)! The show has been around since 2005 bringing us to tears with funny comedy battles and all-star guests. Season 18 kicked off in June and has proven to be the boldest season yet with guest stars such as Marsai Martin, Bobby Shmurda, CoCo Jones, Anthony Hamilton, and many more set to appear.
Each episode puts Team Old School against Team New School in some of the most hilarious and outrageous battles yet. The battles will bring both groups head-to-head in comic throwdowns where the games escalate with each act, all building up towards the “Wildstyle battle” to decide who takes home the coveted WnO championship belt.
At Vh1’s Summer Experience I got a chance to chat with some of the cast members of this season. One thing I can say after meeting these Wild ‘n Out casts members is that they are all super kind, love the lord, and really want to see our community come together as one.
Interviews With The Cast
Karlous Miller is so kind when I walked up to him he flashed this infectious smile and “I just want to hug you, you seem so happy.” I was nervous af but his kindness showed me gave me the confidence to get through the rest of my interviews. I asked everyone the same three questions and unfortunately, I lost the audio of Karlous’ interview but because he’s so funny I remembered that last answer!
Q: What is something you’re still striving for?
A: I want to be an action movie star! Jumping out of planes, fighting, stunts all of it!
Phillip – MR. GOTS TO SEE IT THRU MY BOY – Benjamin Hudson is probably the funniest person I follow on TikTok.
Q: When I think about my career I?
A: Am the best! – We love confidence over here and he’s right he’s the PBH!
Q: What song is the anthem of your life and why?
A: My song; Crazy Onto Something; Everybody thinks that what you have going on is crazy until they see something happening. Now they say you’re onto something but you’ve been on that the whole time. You’re one or the other – there is no in between.
Q: What is something you’re still striving for?
A: I’m still striving for success, it’s a journey. I’m striving to lead everybody to Christ and get everybody acquainted with common sense. Striving to pass the sauce on down to my dependent!
Fats Da Barber and That Boy Funny are a hilariously packaged deal and as you can see from their big ole smiles – they want everyone to have a good time.
Q: When I think about my career I?
A: Big – like my weight. Cause I’m a big boy so I always think bigger than any picture, always think of myself going bigger than the moon, bigger than the sun, bigger than the earth itself.
Q: What song is the anthem of your life and why?
A: Big Boy on the Roof cause I’m the Big Boy on the Roof.
Q: What is something you’re still striving for?
A: For everybody to be happy, for everybody to win, for everybody to be successful, no poverty, I want everyone to enjoy their life the way they were supposed to.
Q: When I think about my career I?
A: I think of it as a forever business that is going to continue to grow. Pretty much like a seed that continues to grow and produces leaves, those leaves are people who look up to me. When I started, I never looked at my career for the pay I looked at it as something I love. You can sit there and do something for the pay and not really love it and you’ll never succeed. So when you’re thinking about a career you really have to have a passion for it. There are gonna be some days that you don’t get paid but you have to continue growing.
Q: What song is the anthem of your life and why?
A: Big Boy on the Roof (of course lol). My boy Fatsdabarber and I are doing it for the big boys. Ever since you were in Elementary/Middle/High School you always saw big people who were afraid to show who they were. The song pretty much portrays that big people are not different than anyone. You always see that when a big person takes off their shirt they always steal the crowd. Ever since we dropped it we’ve seen big boys having confidence, they say big boys are taking over, big girls too (amen amen).

Q: What is something you’re still striving for?
A: I always say I don’t really have a goal but I know that my purpose is to spread laughter to people who are going through something and encourage people who also have talent to have confidence and spread that laughter to other people. Laughter is a cure for a lot of things. You never know what somebody is going through and it could really change somebody. No matter where you’re from, your ethnicity, your status, anything – you need laughter. Thanks to the highest power of God who put that in us as we walk on this earth.
DC Young Fly is my favorite comedian to come out straight out of the A. I met him back in 2017 when he hosted TRL and I let him know how proud I was to see a young black man from Georgia winning! That sentiment rings true today!
Q: When I think about my career I?
A: I think about how good God has been. Just stay consistent, stay prayed up, stay working, and stay grateful about everything that is going on around you.
Q: What song is the anthem of your life and why?
A: Whewwwww! We Fall Down But We Get Up!
Q: What is something you’re still striving for?
A: Bringing my people together, building a better community, and building generational wealth. Letting my people know that we are the golden ones.

Q: When I think about my career I?
A: Am so thankful to God and Nick Cannon that I am not out here broke, busted, and disgusted. I’m out here living my dream, fulfilling my passion, and being able to do what I really love to do while getting money all along. Thank you God and thank you, Nick!
Q: What song is the anthem of your life and why?
A: Everyday I’m hustlin– I work very very hard. I had to work extremely hard to get where I’m at, to even get the opportunity to get in front of Nick and the producers of the show. When I was coming up nobody was really trying to hear me rap even though I could really rap. When people see it they liked it but when they first heard about me it wasn’t something that was really embarrassed. I’ve always had that hustler spirit, I’ve always worked very very hard, did what I had to do to get positions, and worked many hours while chasing my dreams. I worked in every strip club and restaurant in Jersey. I always put everything and every piece of myself, my blood sweat, and tears into pursuing my dream which has always been entertainment.
Q: What is something you’re still striving for?
A: Film and Television. I want to do a lot of big movies, get on some sitcoms, some network stuff and I just got on a new series called Graves End. I just wrote directed, produced, and starred in my own movie coming out this Christmas called, Forget about Christmas. I called each and every one of my homies, Dc Young Fly, Nick Cannon, Vinny G, Vincent Pastore, Teresa Giudice, Renee Graziano, Emannuel Hudson, Conceited, I got all my people up in it! This is going to change things for me because people are going to really get to see my acting chops!
